To
me, pets are more than just animals; they are members of our
families. Like any other member, they bring much joy to our everyday
lives and provide comfort, solace and unconditional love when we
need them the most.
Whether or not
you believe your pets share in your religious beliefs, you have to
admit they take part in the intimate moments of your life – from the
routine of the daily grind to the celebration of special events and
holidays. Personally, I believe as members of my family, my pets are
watched over by my God.
Sound
ridiculous? Not so! Do you know there are over 20 saints who are
protectors of animals? The Bible makes scores of references to
animals and pets. In the Jewish faith, the Torah states animals have
the same rights as people and are to be treated with kindness and
respect.
I designed these
PET SIGNS medallions not only to reflect my theology, but to include
them in my everyday observance of my religious beliefs.
